Scotia Seaplanes Ltd

Hamish Mitchell, 45 Carrick Rd., Ayr, Scotland, UK, KA7 2RD

We have three part-time instructors and specialize in three- to four-day seaplane safaris around the stunningly beautiful west coast of Scotland. Landing beside castles, spotting Outlander locations, splashing on remote islands, flying over ancient whirlpools or weaving through the mountains. Then relax, with a whisky tour, staying in luxury hotels or camping on a remote beach. We also offer daytrip adventures or more formal training for the EASA rating. With many direct flights from N. America to Glasgow and Edinburgh, and the pound at rock bottom, now is the time to experience Scotland. Our 210HP FR172 is appropriately registered G-DRAM (a dram is a shot of whisky)—as with the best things in life, just add a little bit of water!
