Lakeshore Aviation offers complete seaplane flight instruction in a well-equipped Cessna 172 Hawk XP on Wipline 2350 Amphib floats. Located 35NM east of Oshkosh, and seaplane training during EAA AirVenture is available. Training can be at either our location along the shores of Lake Michigan or at our northern Wisconsin seaplane base, surrounded by thousands of lakes. Turn the experience into one for the whole family with a rental cabin and fishing boat. Training is available seasonally, based on WI weather. Our seaplane has a 210-hp engine and constant-speed prop, so the training will also count toward your high-performance and complex checkouts. It’s also full IFR if you’d like an instrument comp check at the same time. It’s equipped with a Garmin 430 and a Garmin 496 with XM Weather. Call early to schedule the best dates.
