Wow, the 50th year for seaplane pilots to gather in the southern region of the Adirondack Mountains. Speculator NY will have welcomed seaplanes and their pilots with smiles and hospitality for 50 years. Planes gather at the NE end of Lake Pleasant on the town beach. Lodging is available within walking distance. See the July/August 2021 issue of Water Flying for a write up on the 2021 event.
Those unable to land in the water can still attend the weekend. Piseco Airport, K09 7nm SW, is fifteen minutes away. Rides from the airport are available; give Don a call at 315-292-0530.
Arriving and departing aircraft should use the local Piseco frequency 122.8.
