AK: 2022 Great Alaska Aviation Gathering

It’s Official! The Gathering is Returning to Palmer!

2021 was the first time we hosted the Great Alaska Aviation Gathering in Palmer. The pandemic shut down the Gathering in 2020, and the need for public safety prompted us to relocate in 2021. The Alaska State Fairgrounds was the obvious location to host such a large-scale event.

The move was prosperous for the event, and the great majority of feedback we received urged us to return to the Valley in 2022. This year, we’ll offer more exhibitor space, more educational opportunities, and an all-new business-to-business component. We’re also including more food trucks, more aircraft displays, more youth activities, and more aviation demonstrations. In addition to these new offerings, we will be able to host airplane camping throughout the weekend!
