Western Michigan University operates from the Battle Creek W.K. Kellogg airport (KBTL) in Southwest Michigan. All seaplane courses utilize the Super Cub and are charged on a per-hour basis using the hourly rate for the aircraft. Prior to beginning the course, training materials will be provided to the student. The student is responsible for the FAA examiner’s fee at the completion of the checkride.
