Cubs Floats and Fun seaplane rating consists of up to seven hours of flight instruction, two hours of ground instruction, the Cubs Floats and Fun Seaplane Training Manual, Step up to Floats 2, and a one-year membership in the Seaplane Pilots Association. The rating is normally done in two days. The seaplane rating is gained using our newly upgraded 160- HP Piper PA-18 Super Cub on EDO 2000 Floats. The training manuals will be sent prior to arrival so you’re ready to get flying. The SES course qualifies for BFR and FAA Wings credit.
